Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) forces today announced that Emirati drones, supporting the militias of retired Marshal Khalifa Haftar, have targeted a post office in the nearby Al-Washka area. from Sirte.
Mustafa Al–Mujie, spokesperson for Operation Volcano of Anger, told Anadolu agency: âEmirati drones supporting Haftar’s militia carried out two raids in the area. So one of the strikes targeted a post office, causing communications there to be suspended.
Al-Mujie added that the shelling caused material damage, noting that the situation on the ground in the Abu Qarain and Al-Washka areas is cautiously calm. “

He stressed that “the GNA air force on Monday bombed an oil tanker in the town of Bani Walid, which was on its way to supply Haftar’s militia”.
Al-Mujie said yesterday GNA forces advanced on the Ain Zara and Wadi Al-Rabi axes, south of Tripoli, after launching a military operation against Haftar’s forces in the region.
GNA spokesman Muhammad Gununu said that “heavy artillery belonging to the heroic GNA forces specifically targeted two ammunition warehouses belonging to the Haftar terrorist militia in the Wadi Al-Rabi axis in response to previous attacks which targeted civilian neighborhoods “.
On Sunday, the GNA announced that its forces had targeted a military plane loaded with ammunition immediately after landing near the town of Tarhuna, south of the capital Tripoli. The military plane was en route to supply Haftar’s forces.
