Ambassador Al Mansouri stressed that the international community should continue to provide various types of support, including technical assistance and capacity building in the area of ââhuman rights, to the Libyan Government of National Accord to ensure the implementation of a roadmap to help Libya overcome its economic, social, humanitarian and security challenges and difficulties and strengthen their capacities to face terrorist organizations. He noted that the world has witnessed the determination and ability of the Libyan people to defeat terrorism, which has culminated with success in the city of Sirte and other regions.
He said Libya is going through a crucial historical phase that offers two options: either moving forward on strengthening the political process, or total collapse and continuation of conflict, spiraling violence and draining state resources.
